Such an amazing location and sea views. Gorgeous beach. ||Shame the campsite has let us down. ||Very noisy, no restrictions to allowing access to site so cars driving in early hours and deliveries of large vans/lorries at 0630 unloading and …
We've been to Saint Cast a number of times, but this was our first visit to Le Chatelet and we enjoyed our stay so much, we have already booked for next year. The location of the site is stunning, with views across the Baie de la Fresnaye …
We stayed in a tent so I can't rate the cabins. The location is stunning. Wash facilities are clean and checked regularly. Pool is lovely, small but versatile as they have a cover when it rains. Walk to the beach is steep but you are well rewarded with sandy beaches and copious rock pools. Entertainment in the evening is fair, not my thing generally so I'm probably not best placed to judge.
Facilities are not 5 star. The washing and toilet facilities are very mixed across the site. We have never experienced no soap or paper towels/driers in communal toilets before. The staff are disparate and aloof. It feels unmanaged …
Had a wonderful time at this cliff top campsite which overlooks the sea and has good clean facilities. We stayed in one of the new chalets this year. Useful little shop selling fresh croissants in the morning. Helpful staff. A return visit …
We spent an excellent time with our camping van on your site. What a great view, very nice beach and lovely villages in the near. Our three teenagers hat much fun at the beach with its rocks and on your multi-sports-area!
This is a wonderful site which for some caravans and chalets overlooks the sea. The grounds are kept really well but some of the pitches specifically at the top are surrounded by trees and need a bit of trimming. The pitches remain in the shade most off the day. I like a bit of shade but not all the time as it is nice to relax in the sun some part of the day.
There are lots showers and toilets and some near the new chalets have been updated but both blocks near the bar need some tlc. In the disabled shower there were no hangers for your clothes or towels. Also the shower head could not be hung up as that was broken too. It meant that you had to leave all your clothes in the bag as and everywhere got wet through.
The pool area and the bar are very nice and there’s seems to be lots of things for the kids to do both outside and inside.
Basically a very nice place ti be.
There is a beautiful cove and the beach is lovely although has lots of steps down to it.
We stayed here in our motorhome for a couple of nights but wished we could have stayed longer. Our pitch was a great size with its own water tap, EHU and a sanitary block close.||There are beautiful coastal walks and a great swimming beach …
